A polish man was repeatedly punched in the face in a suspected racial attack.

The 17-year-old was walking home from a friend’s house on Friday, October 21, when he was approached in Brewer Street by a gang of around five teenage boys.

He was left with a split lip after being punched by two of the group.

Police have this week released computer generated images of two men, thought to be around 18 years old.

Investigating officer PC Helen Smith said: “This kind of incident is rare, and we are releasing these images as the two men might be able to provide us with important information that will help us further our investigation.”

Call Kent police on new non-emergency number 101, or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
