A town centre pub has reopened after a major refit.
Druid’s Arms in Earl Street, Maidstone, was back in business this week after a three-week closure.
It now has a new, modern decor and furnishings, a more spacious interior after a beam was removed, and a new bar in the courtyard.
Manager Emma Thorley said: “This is a complete change for the Druid’s Arms and as well as a new look we have a new team behind the bar too. We have removed a wooden upright from the middle of the pub and moved the toilets, creating a lot more space for additional tables, chairs and sofas.
“It looks absolutely fantastic and the quality really speaks for itself. We are all very proud and looking forward to welcoming in customers old and new.”
Three additional staff have also been recruited.
Jonathan Webster, managing director of Greene King Local Pubs, said: “It is always exciting when the doors to a newly transformed pub are once again opened to the public. I am sure that people in Maidstone will thoroughly endorse this fresh new start for the pub.”
