Women of all ages will dig out their pink angel wings, feather boas and tutus to join the fight against cancer.

Thousands of ladies are expected to register for the annual Race for Life in Maidstone’s Mote Park when it returns this summer.

This year’s challenge in aid of Cancer Research UK is split across two days. The usual 10k and 5k routes will take place on Sunday, July 13. The longer race will start at 9am and the shorter one at 11.30am.

Race for Life takes place annually to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

People who aren’t afraid to push themselves the extra mile can take part in the Pretty Muddy event on Saturday, July 12.

The 5k obstacle course, which leads participants through pools of mud, is open to girls over 13 years old. The challenge has staggered starts every 15 minutes from noon.

Entry for both days is £14.99 for adults and £10 for children. For more details and registration forms visit www.raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org
