There seems to be no end to the kindness of strangers, as another production company offer help to disappointed panto fans.
Already those left holding worthless tickets for the Maidstone pantomime Snow White, whose run was cancelled by the producer Danny Wright on Tuesday, have had invitations to attend several other local pantos.
But the news of the demise of Snow White has even reached a Midlands repertory company, based in Redditch, just south of Birmingham.
Pinkberry Productions said they have their own show ready to go and are keen to travel to Kent to present it to those families stranded with nowhere to go.
Paul Bantin, the company's creative director, said: "We just feel so sorry for those left stranded.
"We don't know Kent at all, but we have a professional five-handed show ready and we would be happy to perform for free if someone can give us a venue."
Mr Bantin suggested a school theatre might be ideal.
He said: "I'm thinking maybe we could two or three performances in the New Year, but we are flexible.
"If there' a venue in Kent, preferably near Maidstone, that could accommodate us, then we would be happy to do our bit."
Offers please to hello@pinkberryproductions.com
They are willing to relay the show live into the neighbouring Exchange Studio for performances on Saturday and Sunday, December 29 and 30, but need to know if this will be worthwhile before they incur the expense of hiring the equipment.
If you are a Snow White ticket holder and would like to take up their offer (there may be a small charge) contact The Hazlitt: Tweet them on @HACMaidstone or call 01622 758611.
