The Bull Inn at Barming has been bought by new owners and will benefit from a £425,000 refurbishment before it reopens in August.
Stonegate Pub Company, the UK’s largest independent pub company, have taken over the Grade II listed pub, with plans to transform and extend it as part of the major renovation before opening on August 10.
Thirty new jobs will be created and bosses have disclosed that the new offer will be focussed on premium products including craft and cask beer.
An emphasis will also be on a spirits emporium and fine wines alongside seasonal, quality driven food with everyday offers such as 20% discount for over 65s on Tuesdays.
Simon Longbottom, chief executive for Stonegate Pub Company, said: “The acquisition of The Bull adds another gem of a pub to our estate. We are hugely excited about the development of this pub and are confident the transformation will be a hit with locals and visitors alike.”
