Police are investigating after punches were thrown when two drivers clashed on a roundabout in Maidstone.

The scuffle is said to have happened between 11.15am and 11.30am on Monday, August 27 on the A249 Bearsted Road, near to Eclipse Park.

It is reported the driver of a white Seat exited his vehicle and approached a man at the wheel of a black Ford Focus, before attacking him.

However, officers are also investigating counter allegations that the Seat driver, who reported receiving scratches, was assaulted himself during the clash.

No serious injuries were reported.
