Pupils at Shernold School in Queens Avenue Maidstone paint faces to show their support for England ahead of Uruguay game

They may not have been able to stay up and watch the whole game but that did not stop youngsters at Shernold School showing their support for England.

The pupils from the Queens Avenue school painted their faces with the flag of St George during lunch time as they eagerly anticipated the crunch match with Uruguay.

The youngsters showed their support by having their faces painted during their lunch break
