A retired RAF hero cut the ribbon for the renaming of meeting rooms on the spot where Second World War fighter planes took to protect Kent 70 years earlier.

RAF Group Captain Patrick Tootal delivered a heartfelt speech as the rooms were renamed after five aircraft which flew in the 1939-1945 conflict.

Regus Kings Hill general manager said: “Kings Hill’;s RAF heritage is common knowledge within the local area.
