A GIRL who sparked a police alert when she went missing has been found safe and well.

Concern for 14-year-old Rebecca Appleby grew after she vanished from her home in Leeds Road, Langley, near Maidstone, at about 4.30pm on Tuesday.

She returned to her home at around 6pm on Wednesday.
