A man has been taken to a London hospital with potentially serious injuries after being hit by a car in Maidstone.

The victim, aged in his 20s, was knocked down at the junction of Boxley Road and Holland Road at around 3pm.

The busy route is currently closed in both directions and the man has been taken to King's College Hospital as a priority.
