A man found with a serious head injury in Rectory Lane last night has been released from hospital.

Farleigh Lane was closed between the junctions of Glebe Lane/Gatland Lane and Lower Road at 8.20pm as ambulance crews treated the man at the scene.

A woman reportedly placed the man in the recovery position whilst waiting for emergency services to arrive.
