Overnight resurfacing work on the A21, between Lamberhurst and Flimwell, will begin on Monday.

Sections of the carriageway will be resurfaced using overnight closures for three weeks and according to the Highways Agency it will lead to smooth and safer journeys.

A clearly signed diversion will be put in place.

A southbound route will run through the A262, A229 and A268 while Londonbound travellers will be able to continue their journeys from Flimwell via the A268, A229 and A262.

Closures will be enforced from 8pm to 6am and should be finished by Sunday, February 9.
