New Line Learning Academy (NLL) in Maidstone has appointed a new headteacher.

A former Ofsted inspector and secondary school improvement advisor, the new head will replace Jane Hadlow, who will remain at the site until the new academic year.

Mr Murphy said: “ During the five months I have been at NLL, I have gained a real insight into the unique community spirit the school works hard to maintain. There is great deal of potential here at NLL and with continued hard work, determination and enthusiasm, I believe we can achieve the success our students deserve.”

NLL’s Chair of Governors, Nick Whitfield, added: “New Line Learning Academy is fortunate to have Paul join the team at this critical time to help us build a strong and vibrant education community that will focus on the achievements of the children within the school."
