New Line Learning Academy issue warning to parents after reports of a man acting suspiciously in Mangravet Avenue, Maidstone

A Maidstone secondary school has warned pupils not to walk home alone after an alleged indecent exposure nearby.
A post circulating on social media claims to show a text message sent by the New Line Learning Academy warning parents.
The message, sent on Wednesday afternoon, says extra staff will be on duty when pupils leave school at the end of the day.
Police confirmed they were called after a man was spotted acting suspiciously in Mangravet Avenue, Maidstone, shortly after 8.30am on Wednesday, October 21. Police received the reports at 10.15am.
The youngsters are being warned not to walk home on their own.
Sir Nick Williams, CEO of Future Schools Trust, which runs the school in Boughton Lane, said: "Student safety is at the heart of the Future Schools Trust and we work closely with parents and Kent Police to ensure this is upheld.
Last month, Maplesden Noakes and Maidstone Grammar School for Girls issued warnings after a number of similar incidents.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested after reports of indecent exposure on Buckland Hill, Maidstone, close to the two schools. He has been released on bail until Thursday, November 26. There are no suggestions the incidents are linked.
Inquiries are ongoing.
