Teston: Images of dead horses dumped in woodland posted on Facebook

Shocking images of several dead horses have been posted on social media after they were found dumped in woodland.

The pictures were put on Facebook, with a plea for anyone who recognised the animals to contact the police.

The horses, and a foal, are thought to have been left by a public footpath on Tuesday night.

In just three days the post has been shared more than 700 times by animal lovers appalled at the way they had been left.

Kent Police had received no calls about dead horses being found on a footpath.
