A shopping centre in Tunbridge Wells has announced it will offer customers free car parking after 5pm from next Monday.
The Royal Victoria Place will be running the offer every night from Monday, December 16 until Monday, December 23.
It will coincide with the centre's extended shopping hours. It will be open late until 8pm every week night during the same period and until 5pm on Christmas Eve for those last minute gifts.
Centre manager Laurie Barton-Wright said: “We all know how expensive this time of year can be, so we wanted to reward our loyal shoppers by helping to take a little bit of that cost away and giving them more time to shop in the lead up to the big day.
"Additionally, we hope this parking incentive will provide further support for our retailers, encouraging people to choose Tunbridge Wells as the perfect one stop Christmas shopping destination.”
The free parking initiative is supported by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, who own the car park.
Cllr Alan McDermott, cabinet member with responsibility for parking said: "I am pleased that Royal Victoria Place is making this offer and welcome the initiative to bring more people into the town."
