Dozens of firefighters were called to a serious house blaze this morning.
Six fire engines and a specialist vehicle to tackle flames from above were sent to the large property in Boxley, near Maidstone.
Pictures show the fire, which started shortly before 4.45am, caused significant damage to the house at Little Halstead Farm, which is home to a dog park called Little Halstead Hounds.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service advised people to avoid the area and neighbours to keep their windows and doors closed because of the smoke at the height of the blaze.
Firefighting efforts ended at just before 10am, but crews will revisit the house to ensure any hotspots are dampened down.
It has not yet been said if anybody was in the house at the time the fire started.
There were no reported injuries, and the cause is not yet known.
