A bounty of class A drugs - including heroin - has been uncovered on a series of raids in Snodland.
Six men have been arrested after a team of almost 40 police officers raided five homes across the town at 8am yesterday.
The six men are aged between 31 and 61 and were arrested at addresses in Simpson Road, Nevill Place and Willowside.
One of them, a 47-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply heroin.
All the men have been released on bail while investigation continues.
The operation was planned by Snodland's neighbourhood police officers.
District commander chief inspector Mark Hutcheon said: "We rely on members of the public to alert us if they think illegal activity is taking place in their neighbourhoods, and likewise they rely on us to tackle it."
