The Deichmann shoe shop in Maidstone's Week Street is set to re-open this Saturday after an extensive £399,00 refit.

The shop will re-launch selling exclusive new brands including Reebok, Vero Moda, K-Swiss, Mexx and Wrangler.

The firm is planning a number of activities to make the launch go with a swing on Saturday, including a match and win game giving shoppers the chance to win shoes and prizes, a seaside photo board with a £100 top prize and opening offers on both Saturday and Sunday.

The first 500 people through the doors will also be given a limited edition bag.

Store manager Shona Davies said: "We’re really excited to be re-opening our doors in Maidstone, and have missed our loyal shoppers while we’ve been closed.

"We can’t wait to show off the transformation our store has had and welcome in the shoppers of Maidstone.”
