Police say it was 'amazing' that nobody was injured by a car driving the wrong way on the M20.

They received a number of 999 calls reporting the car on the wrong side of the motorway driving towards London.

Officers tried to slow the vehicle down but were forced to make 'tactical contact' when it continued to drive straight towards them.

A spokesman for the force said it was 'amazing' nobody had been injured in Friday night's drama.

They added: "We have submitted the relevant paperwork to the DVLA for the driver's licence to be revoked.

"The main thing is nobody was hurt and a team effort to safely conclude this incident. Thanks to all who called us to alert us to this vehicle."
