Social distancing has proved no obstacle for one group of cub scouts who have taken their pack online during the coronavirus lockdown.
Loose Swiss Tiger Pack from Maidstone lived up to Baden Powell's famous 'Be Prepared' motto when they held their first virtual meeting using Facebook Live.
The youngsters had been set the task of building a den or shelter at home, and the online get-together was led by pack leader Jo Hage via a private Facebook group.
Ms Hage, also know by the cubs as Rikki Tikki Tavi, said: "We did a virtual grand howl and then the cubs took turns to live steam tours of their dens. We ran the meeting at our usual time on Thursday but finished early so we could all go outside and clap for our carers at 8pm.
"The cubs have also been keeping a good deed diary every day and it is wonderful that they are upholding scouting traditions even in such scary and unsettling times for everyone."
"We are going to expand things next week and will be broadcasting on Zoom and the cubs will be working on their digital citizen badge before our next meeting."
Leaders of the pack are collecting photographs taken of the group's activities during the lockdown. The photo album's title? Caged Tigers.
