A teenager was taken to hospital after he was allegedly assaulted by another.

The 13-year-old was found injured in the woodland near Boughton Lane, Maidstone, at around 3.20pm yesterday (May 23).

Paramedics attended and the boy was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

He has since been discharged.

Passersby are said to have come across the teenager who was “unresponsive” near New Lines Learning Academy, according to social media.

An investigation has since been launched by police into the circumstances.
