It happened at the top of Gabriel’s Hill, Maidstone, at the junction with High Street, on Thursday, August 13, at around 6.30pm.

Officers were called to the scene and an 18-year-old man was arrested nearby.

Four days later, following an investigation, a second teenager, aged 17, was also arrested.

A police spokesman said: “Both are currently bailed pending further inquiries. Police are now appealing to any witnesses who have yet to come forward to contact them.

“They are also seeking any CCTV or dashcam footage which may assist the investigation.”
