International operatic tenor James Edwards has joined the line-up for the popular Leeds Castle classical concert this summer.
The singer will be among the musicians entertaining thousands at the castle on Saturday, July 12 .
A graduate of the Young Artists' Programme at London's Royal Opera House, he made his debut in 2002.
Earlier this year, he sang Rodolfo in Raymond Gubbay's production of La boheme at the Royal Albert Hall. This summer he will also appear as Ruggero in La rondine at Iford Arts and at the Royal Albert Hall next year in a revival of Madam Butterfly.
The concert will also feature the Military Wives Choir, the world famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and be narrated by TV presenter Chris Hollins.
Accompanied by military musicians, field guns and aircraft displays there will also be the rousing finale of patriotic favourites and a spectacular firework display.
