Southeastern has marked Shrove Tuesday by greeting their early morning high-speed train customers with a pancake.
Passengers were given an early hint when they arrived at their commuting station this morning to find the destination boards announcing the next train was to St Pancake - instead of St Pancras.
And when the lucky travellers arrived in the capital they was were handed a cellophane-wrapped pancake - complete with with chocolate sauce - to take to the office for breakfast.
