Thousands of people headed to Mote Park at the weekend to celebrate Maidstone's newest festival.

Clubbers enjoyed an all-day set of dance music at The Social on Saturday, before revelers of all ages soaked up the atmosphere of the Family Social on Sunday.

Families who attended the final day were treated to a line-up of disco legends, including the Brand New Heavies, Sister Sledge, the Earth, Wind and Fire Experience and the Shapeshifters.

The two-day festival was organised by Maidstone-born DJ Nic Fanciulli.
