Tonbridge boss Tommy Warrilow is tipping hat-trick hero Frannie Collin to win the Ryman League, Premier Division’s golden boot.

Collin’s second treble of the season saw off Maidstone 3-0 on Tuesday night and takes his tally to 15 for the season, putting him level with Cray’s Laurent Hamici and Kingstonian’s Bobby Traynor.

Warrilow said: "I have given Frannie a licence to roam and have had a bit of banter with him about the golden boot.

Warrilow was pleased with the win over struggling Stones, after admitting Saturday’s 3-3 draw (they were 3-0 up) against play-off rivals Lowestoft, "felt like a loss."

Warrilow said: "The first goal left us a bit flat and we went into our shell a bit, dropped deeper and deeper and seemed to panic."

The Maidstone win lifted Tonbridge into fourth place and Warrilow added: "It’s been a fantastic start to the year and we have got ourselves into a nice situation but there is still a long way to go. We are just ticking one match off at a time."

Fraser Logan has returned to Tonbridge after a spell at strugglers Hastings. Lewis Taylor (ankle) and Ade Olorunda (hamstring) should be fit to face lowly Aveley at Longmead on Saturday.
