People living in Shepway have been hit by a spate of overnight thefts this week.

Between Sunday and Wednesday, police have received reports of the theft of bicycles from a shed in Cumberland Avenue, a laptop computer from Sutton Road, and power tools from a Ford Transit van parked in Plains Avenue, Maidstone.

There was also interference with the lock of a Ford Transit van parked in Sussex Road and an attempted burglary at a garage in Dorset Way.
