Trains cancelled between Strood and Paddock Wood due to trespasser on line

Passengers are dealing with delays due to a trespasser on the railway line.

Bus replacement services are due to be organised between Strood and Paddock Wood after a trespasser gained access to the line at Maidstone Barracks station in Buckland Hill, Maidstone just after 6pm.

A tweet from Southeastern confirmed: “Because of a trespasser on the line in the Maidstone Barracks area trains cannot run between Strood and Paddock Wood.

“We are working to obtain replacement buses.”

British Transport Police has been approached for comment.
