Travellers who pitched up at a leisure centre car park in Maidstone did not stay long.

The group arrived outside Maidstone Leisure Centre off West Park Road over the weekend.

But by Sunday night, the five caravans had left voluntarily, before the council could take action.

It comes as a small number of caravans were spotted in the car park behind Cineworld and Pizza Hut on the Eureka Leisure Park in Ashford earlier this morning.
