Travellers have set up camp in a town centre car park next to a leisure complex.

Several motorhomes have moved onto Lockmeadow in Maidstone, around the back of the entertainment centre, which is home to a cinema, restaurants, a bowling alley and a trampoline centre.

It comes after a group of travellers set up camp in another Maidstone Borough Council car park, this time the short-stay site in Medway Street.

They arrived on Monday but complied with an enforcement notice and had left by Wednesday.

It is not yet known whether any action has been taken to move them on.
