Former Headgardeners and Sultan Barber buildings in Union Street, Maidstone, on the market

Two town centre properties in the same street that were previously barber shops have been put on the market.

Both are in Union Street, Maidstone, just off the town’s busy Week Street.

The building that was Headgardeners, which closed earlier this year, is available for £285,000.

It includes the barber shop on the ground floor, a kitchen and toilet, as well as a one-bedroom maisonette with a large bathroom on the first and second floors.

Further up the road, the Sultan Barber shop is available to rent for £14,500 a year.

The property, which is between Wok Kitchen and the Body Link piercing studio, has space over three floors as well as two parking spaces.
