The company first became aware the Tubz vending machine was missing when a member of staff went to empty the takings and add some more sweets.

Around 10p from every pot sold goes to Starlight, a charity that helps seriously ill children enjoy play time while undergoing hospital treatment.

Samantha White, 40, of Plumpton Walk, Maidstone and Joanna Stansall, 31, of Quarry Road, Maidstone were both arrested yesterday.
