The replacement to Maidstone's famous Urban Blue bus caused traffic chaos tonight when it broke down on a major route out of the town.

It was a rocky start for the former airport ambulance which was purchased in July as a replacement to the mobile medical centre.

The £34,000 large white bus, which will be known as Urban Blue Too, broke down on Fairmeadow near Fremlin Walk just before 6.30pm adding to motorist's woes.

Urban Blue was listed on eBay for a short period priced at £12,500 before being sold for use as a medical centre in Canterbury.
