Maidstone: Thefts from cars in Cosford Road

Thieves have been breaking into cars in Maidstone sparking a warning from police.

Two vehicles which may have been unlocked were targeted in Cosford Road on Monday, April 17 and the following day.

Items stolen include a handbag, purse, Sat Nav and a mobile phone.

They are among a spate of other incidents in the area police are investigating.

Residents are being urged to remove any valuable items from their vehicle, secure vehicles and to park in a secure car park.
