Suspected shoplifter charged after medication and hair dye swiped from Boots in King Street, Maidstone

A suspected shoplifter has been charged with a series of thefts after medication, hair dye and heat pads were swiped from Boots.

The goods, reported stolen from the chemist in King Street, Maidstone, between April and May totalled more than £300.

Rodica Asavi, of Birch Tree Way, Maidstone was arrested yesterday and later charged with four counts of theft.

The 48-year-old was bailed to appear before Maidstone Magistrates' Court on June 19.
