Police appeal for witnesses after a woman is critically injured in a one-car collision in Lug Horse Lane, Hunton, Maidstone

A woman was seriously injured after her car collided with a wall.

The 21-year-old woman was driving a blue Peugeot 307 along Lughorse Lane in Hunton at 9.49pm on Friday night, when it came off at the junction with Hunton Hill and hit the wall.

She was taken to a London hospital for treatment and is in a critical but stable condition.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to get in touch.

Investigating officer PC Graham Holdstock from the serious collision investigation unit said: "The blue coloured Peugeot 307 appears to have been the only vehicle involved but we would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident, or the vehicle prior to the collision occurring, to make contact with us."
