Woman cut free from car

Another lorry has overturned at Cowstead Corner roundabout, Sheppey

A woman was cut free from her car following a crash in Maidstone last night.
Fire crews from Maidstone used hydraulic equipment to release the woman in her 50s after the accident in Sittingbourne Road at the junction of Queen Anne Road.
The collision, involving two cars, a black Renault Megane and a blue Volkswagon Golf, happened at about 6pm.
The woman suffered neck pain in the incident and was taken to Pembury Hospital.
Two other people were also taken to hospital as a precaution.
The road remained partially closed until about 9pm when the cars were removed from the scene.
Police made no arrests.
