THE body of a woman in her 30s was found in a block of high-rise flats.

Police and paramedics were called to Midhurst Court, Mote Road, Maidstone, at 8.45pm on Thursday after the body was discovered on a first floor balcony. It is believed the woman fell from a flat above.

A Maidstone and Malling Police spokeswoman said: "We are not treating the death as suspicious but inquiries are ongoing."
