A female passenger suffered a suspected neck injury after a two-car crash in Shepway this morning.

She was travelling in a silver Vauxhall Vectra when it collided with a red Ford Kia at about 10.10am in Suffolk Road.

As a precaution, fire crews used cutting equipment to release a man from the Kia.

The injured passenger was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital.

There were no other injuries.
