Suspected fraudster charged with scamming pension at his home in Maidstone

A man in his 80s was scammed out of more than £100 by a suspected fraudster who knocked at his door.

Kathleen Perry, of Acorn Place, Maidstone, allegedly told the victim he owed her money for a parcel delivery.

The man lives on Buckland Road, Maidstone

The 54-year-old allegedly targeted the pensioner in Buckland Road on Friday, January 3.

Perry was later arrested and charged with fraud by false representation.

She was remanded in custody and appeared before Medway Magistrates Court today.
