A man's been arrested after two women were reportedly attacked in an alleyway off Gabriel's Hill in Maidstone.

The incident happened at about 3pm on Sunday (August 7) next to Lau Hairdressing. Both victims were left in need of hospital treatment.

Police attended the scene and detained the 28-year-old from Dartford on suspicion of assault.

He was bailed pending further enquiries until Friday, September 16.
