Police were called to another crash on the M20 between junctions eight and nine this morning.

A woman was left with minor injuries after the single-vehicle collision on the coastbound carriageway close to the exit for junction nine (Ashford).

Emergency services were called at 7.40am and closed one lane of the motorway.

The lane has now re-opened, but police remain on the scene clearing away debris.

The crash is the third to take place on the stretch of road in as many days.

Yesterday, a five-vehicle pile-up left three people fighting for their lives and on Tuesday a man believed to be a migrant was killed after being hit close to junction 8 (Leeds/Maidstone Services).
