World-famous DJ Zane Lowe will be on the decks at a Maidstone nightclub this weekend.

The well-known Radio 1 presenter, who specialises in alternative music, is set to perform at Wonderland, in Barker Road, on Saturday.

The event will mark the launch of the nightspot's monthly electronic dance night, called Discovery, in association with Motion:Underground.

The DJ will be the second celebrity to visit the venue this week. Comedian Dapper Laughs is booked to appear at Wonderland on Thursday.

The comic has become popular in the last year thanks to his online video posts.

Doors open at 9pm.
