New Maidstone manager Andy Ford will give his squad a chance to impress.

Ford (pictured) wants to give all of the players he has inherited the opportunity to show him they can earn a place in his side.

"They are bottom for a reason," said Ford. "But I want them to show me that they are good enough.

"There's a shortage of players in certain areas where we will need to bring people in but we will give them a good chance for the next two weeks."

The 56-year-old took charge of the Stones for the first time on Tuesday night when they drew 2-2 at home to Hendon in the Ryman League Premier Division.
