BRADFORD and Bingley Estate Agents’ housing market review for 2002 reveals that consumer confidence and demand grew at an insatiable rate throughout the year and prices followed suit.
Spokesperson Nick Freeth, said: “Such was the appetite for home buying that it seemed that the usual seasonal fluctuations in the market were not apparent. However, there has been a slowing in the market towards the end of the year from the top down, but sensibly priced, good quality property continues to sell.”
He expected prices to rise at “a more sensible” five per cent in 2003.

OUR homes have become the ultimate status symbol and say more about the way we dress or the car we drive, according to a survey commissioned by Bryant Homes.
The research, conducted by independent think-tank, The Future Foundation, showed that 64 per cent of people believe their home says more about them than their clothes or car.
