An alert has been issued after a young girl was approached outside a Maidstone school and asked to get into a stranger's car.
The man, described as black with dark hair and a bandana, pulled up alongside an 11-year-old as she was walking through the Oakwood Park complex, close to MidKent College.
Chief Inspector Mark Hedges said: "The man offered her a lift home and, when she declined, offered to drive her to her mother. The young girl refused and the man drove away.
