A popular gourmet burger bar has reopened, with around 100 customers placing orders in the first hour.
Five Guys in Maidstone turned the fryers on at midday, with hungry punters craving their fast food fix able to order online and collect.
Staff estimate around 100 orders were made during the first hour of business.
The doorway has been blocked with tables, which display signs reminding diners of social distancing rules.
People are asked to not wait in groups and to only come to the door when an order is ready to be picked up.
Orders must be made online and then either collected or delivered through Deliveroo.
Staff stay in the kitchen area until someone appears in the doorway. Customers then give their name and wait while their food is packed up, ready to be eaten at home.
The Earl Street outlet has reduced its opening hours from midday to 9pm instead of the usual 11am to 10pm.
Burgers also began sizzling once again in Five Guys in Canterbury today.
The firm was previously forced to close its restaurants in Canterbury, Maidstone, Bromley, and at Ashford's Designer Outlet and Bluewater Shopping Centre, amid the coronavirus pandemic.
