Ashley Jackson netted his second goal of the Hockey World Cup as England overcame South Africa 6-4 in their second Pool B match at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi on Tuesday morning.
The South Africans went ahead after 10 minutes but England fought back with Richard Mantell and Robert Moore turning the game on its head before the Proteas equalised.
West Malling star Jackson - a former Sutton Valence School pupil and Tunbridge Wells player - then made it 3-2 shortly after half-time.
The Chatham-born striker netted a brilliant strike on the counter-attack and England scored three more inside seven minutes to seal their second victory of the campaign after Sunday's 3-2 win over Australia.
The European Champions face Pakistan in their next game on Thursday while winless South Africa face Australia.
