Thugs who injured two Asian men in a racist attack - knocking one of them unconscious - are being hunted.
The two victims - aged 25 and 21, and both from Tunbridge Wells - were walking along Camden Road in the town when a man and a woman told them to "go back to your country".
The attackers then set upon the pair near the junction with Victoria Road, knocking the 25-year-old man out with a single punch, then pulling the younger man's jumper up over his face and before kicking and punching him.
The large number of blows led the victims to suspect there were more attackers involved than just the initial couple.
As the older man came round, the pair saw a group of people they believe to be their attackers getting into a blue car and driving away.
They described the man as white, with brown facial hair and wearing a white shirt. The woman was also white, but no further details were given.
Kent Police say others are likely to have witnessed the attack - at about 4am on New Year's Day - and are appealing for them to come forward.
